NARS Spring 2015 Color Collection is different; it is fresh and nude and absolutely breathtaking. It features Tilda Swinton (the latest face of the brand) in the second of four ‘Portraits by The Artist’, a seasonal series of acts created by NARS Founder and Creative Director François Nars. This is Act 2, and it is a nude scene -- daring, baring, anything but neutral.

"Disrobed tones in spectral effects expose a new natural state. The look begins with a provocative pink shimmer on cheeks. The barely-there effect extends to eyes, where a bold beige base sets the stage for burnished neutrals with lucid depth. Lips are undone in tan pigments topped with a whisper of opalescent gloss."

Spring 2015: NARS Color Collection

While the brand does have a few gorgeous nude shades, we usually see some bolds thrown in for good measure. This collection absolutely excites me because I am a huge neutral fan, yet this collection is far from your average neutrals. Of course it is how NARS would do neutrals; sexy and shimmery with pinks and light chestnut and caramel. It really is stunning.

I have a few of the products that are really so me! I love a nude lip and Liguria Sheer Lipstick is a bit of a peach toned flesh nude lipstick. It doesn't look that great on its own on me, but when I top it with Guyane Lip Gloss, the look is beautiful. Guyane is a really shimmery pink, so a little bit in the center of my bottom lips that I smack together and then spread out is all I need. The end result? Gorgeous!

St-Paul-de-Vence Duo Eyeshadow is a great everyday neutral shadow duo. NARS shadows are great; they layer and blend well with no fall out and last the day. These are well pigmented and a little goes a long way. I need to pick up Valhalla to highlight with.
