If there is one holiday makeup collection that I look forward to each year, it is MAC's holiday makeup collection. This year's holiday makeup collection from MAC is called Snow Ball and it's full of beautiful, glistening gold packaged makeup and a slew of gift sets (I've already posted many of my picks in the gift guide). When I first saw the Snow Ball makeup pieces, all I could think of was wearing it to all of my holiday parties because the products are definitely party perfect.

From the must-have Here Comes Joy Face Powder to the Shimmer & Spice Lipstick, I cannot get enough of this beautiful collection.

The packaging is beyond gorgeous in gold and the makeup is what you would expect from MAC— long-lasting, highly pigmented and simply beautiful.

As a lipstick lover, I am impressed and obsessed. Rouge En Snow is a gorgeous, matte apple red that is perfect for the holiday season and beyond. If you like red, you will use it all year round. My favorite is the frosted Shimmer and Spice, though. This one is a lightly frosted dusty rose color that is filled with shimmer.

Here Comes Joy Face Power is soft and smooth to apply, but it is definitely more of a highlight powder. This is a gorgeous peachy-gold shade that does have some shimmer to it, but not a ton of shimmer that is off-putting.

The eyshadows are definitely metallics and glisten on the eyes.

Most of the MAC Snow Ball makeup pieces are sold out online at maccosmetics.com, so look for them at MAC stores or in department stores like Nordstrom or Macy's.
