Block Out Self Tanner Smells with Xen-Tan Scent Secure.
/By now, we all know that the safest way to tan is with a self tanner, right? I consider myself a self-tan expert as I sport a faux glow often. I have my routine down to a science. One thing I have not been an expert in and it really as bothered me, is minimizing the lingering-self tanner odor.
Now, many companies have done their best to block that pesky smell by adding in oils and fragrances within the self-tanner product. There really is nothing that they have been able to do to actually make the tell tale smell of dha go away. It is extremely hard to cover. Leave it to one of the best self-tanner manufacturers to come up with a product that does a mighty fine job of blocking the self-tan odor out. This is a companion product, as it is not built into self-tanners, as that would probably cut down on the effectiveness of the product. Companion, as in, this lotion is meant to be used in conjunction with your favorite self-tanner - or in my case, self-tanners.
Xen-Tan Scent Secure is what I am speaking of, and my self-tanning routine now includes this blockbuster scent-blocker.
Scent Secure is meant to be used one hour after self-tanning application, and then as often as you feel the need to hide the odor. It works to diminish the scent of dha with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, and its' Cucumber Melon scent. It is very refreshing, and I have found that I only use Scent Secure once after each self-tanning application.
The lotion is lightweight, smells great - a refreshing cucumber melon scent, and absorbs into my skin and immediately neutralizing the self-tanner smell. As I said, I use this about an hour after my self-tanning body application - that's it. IF your self-tanner really has a noticeable odor to it, than apply Scent Secure everyday, maybe after your shower. That's it. Odor gone.
Xen-Tan Scent Secure retails for $32.00 and can purchased online at xen-tan.com, as well as at Nordstrom.
