I seriously cannot believe that the month of August is here already. This summer has flown by. I realize that we still have a good seven weeks left of summer, but it is officially half over. That bums me out because summer is my very favorite season of the year.

I'm also a little sad because my youngest leaves for college today. It is early, but he is playing football, so he goes to campus almost a full month before classes actually start for football pre-season. He is also going the furthest away from home than any of my other kids— I am in denial that my baby has left the nest!

I will try and cheer myself up by looking at all the new makeup coming out this month. You know that with the end of a season brings the next season launches and that means Fall. Fall makeup is classically beautiful. Warm, rich tones always get me.

There are plenty of fall makeup launches starting to pop up. I still have my eye on a few end of summer makeup products, too. I just don't want summer to end, and new summer makeup keeps me going well into fall.
