The M·A·C Carine Roitfeld Collection.

M·A·C Cosmetics announced today a limited edition line of cosmetics with fashion visionary and muse Carine Roitfeld, to launch in Fall 2012.  Carine collaborated on all creative aspects of the collection; package design, product names and colour palettes.  The M·A·C Carine Roitfeld Collection features 20 pieces with a focus on eyes and brows that reflect Carine’s signature look: smoky eye, bold brows and nude lips.

A specially created Good Luck Star stencil makes its debut and can be seen in the collection image for which Carine was photographed by Mario Sorrenti.  This marks the first time M·A·C has worked with the legendary photographer.

More to come from M·A·C and Carine this Fall.

Recycle and Be Rewarded! with Kiehl's.

A yearly tradition, Kiehl’s Since 1851 is celebrating the environment with a Limited Edition program designed to support environmental causes.

This year, the program is RECYCLE & BE REWARDED!, a Limited Edition Label Art series by “Friends of Kiehl’s,” in which 100% of net proceeds will benefit Recycle Across America™ (RAA).  Through this program, Kiehl’s will be donating $100,000 to RAA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering society-wide solutions that eliminate public confusion, stimulate the environmental economy and expedite progress. www.recycleacrossamerica.org. The funds will be used to create 150,000 standardized recycling labels.

The Limited Edition Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque series features Earth-inspired designs by socially conscious influencers, depicting their vision of social responsibility.  Celebrities Florence Welch, Mark Ruffalo, Rosario Dawson and Spike Lee have lent their time, passion, and creativity to Kiehl’s for this project.  The collection will be available in Kiehl’s stores and on Kiehls.com on April 3.

At the same time, Kiehl's is also re-introducing their Recycle and Be Rewarded! in-store recycling program.  Available only in Kiehl’s free-standing stores nationwide, this program allows customers to return their empty Kiehl’s bottles, tubes and jars for recycling, in exchange for product.  Since 2009, Kiehl’s has recycled 500,000 bottles!
