Revlon Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara.

You know I am always on the hunt for the latest in volume and lengthening mascaras because I love bold lashes. When I received Revlon's latest Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara to try, I couldn't wait to put it to the test right away. It promises lacquered length and volume, did it live up to that promise?

Well, upon first application, I noticed that Revlon Bold Lacquer in Blackest Black was dark black in color and it did indeed lengthen and define my lashes. It added a bit of volume to my lashes as it defined them, but it didn't build volume upon adding on more layers of the mascara. It was great at adding more length each time I added another coat though. I was also hoping for a glossy finish with the name lacquer and the promise of lacquered length & volume but I didn't see that. Like I said, I did get a dark black pigment from the mascara, but nothing like Clinique's Naturally Glossy Mascara or Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes which I consider to be very glossy.
