Makeup Wars: My Favorite Waterproof Makeup.

When it comes to summer makeup, I have three waterproof products that are a must for me: waterproof mascara, waterproof eye liner and waterproof bronzer. I think it is pretty obvious when it comes to waterproof mascara and liner; eye makeup that is sweating or smearing off is just not pretty. But I also HATE it when I have bronzer running down my cheeks, so a waterproof bronzer is also essential.

Here it is, my favorite waterproof makeup.

Waterproof Mascara

I am so picky about mascara that picking a waterproof version has seriously proved difficult for me. I either love them or hate them and just don't have the lashes to waste because so many of the waterproof version are very rough on eyelashes. Waterproof Eye Liner

I have a stash of waterproof and long wearing eye liners that I put into heavy rotation in the summer, but none has sparked my fancy as much as this new beautiful tarte cosmetics Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner in Splash. This sparkling turquoise liner makes a summer eye unexpectedly gorgeous and I wore it during all of my recent beach vacation.  The enclosed brush (in the prettiest teal green color) makes application easy and perfect every time. The best part? It doesn't budge from where I apply it.

Waterproof Bronzer

Like I said, there is nothing worse than streaky bronzer running down my face as I, ugh, sweat. This CARGO Water Resistant Bronzer is formulated with long-wear and water-resistant ingredients, that are pretty much waterproof on me. Since wearing this medium shade of bronzer, that leaves just a touch of glow and beautiful bronze to my skin, I have not had to worry about bronze streaks anymore.
