I feel like I am constantly talking about skin care these days. I guess because it is the dead of winter and dry skin seems to be trending (and not in a good way) it is the best time to be talking about skincare and all the fabulous new skincare launches.

First Aid Beauty or FAB, has recently launched some purely fabulous new skincare products designed to treat and rescue dry skin. They have just introduced a Barriair Cream as part of the Ultra Repair line, a new Eye Cream and a just out (as in just hitting the shelves now) Dry Oil.

So let’s chat about them all, because I have super dry skin, especially this time of year; I couldn’t wait to dig in.

The first products I tried, which launched the middle of December, was Ultra Repair Barriair Cream. And no, Barriair is not a typo. :)

We all know how the environment and our lifestyle take an effect on our skin. But did you know that this is what actually compromises your protective barrie layer? That’s why it is so prone to dryness; it even makes it more susceptible to things like allergens, bacteria and other irritants. So bad, right? That’s where this new Ultra Repair Barriair Cream will be your new skin savior.

Ultra Repair Barriair Cream is super lightweight that strengthens your skins barrier. Think of it as a skin shield — making sure that the bad stuff stays out while locking all that essential moisture and skin lipids in. In testing over time, skin is left stronger, more balanced and hydrated. It is more importantly, less reactive to the environment and lifestyle stressors making it a must, especially for those of us that have very sensitive and reactive skin.

Fresh for the new year, FAB launched Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid. This one woo’d me from the get go. I mean retinol and triple hyaluronic acid? I was ALL IN!

Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream is so much more than your average eye cream; it is an eye treatment. It visibly smooths, firms and hydrates the skin in just 10 days.

It’s powerful because of the multi-tasking formula. Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream uses Microencapsulated Retinol to help stimulate collagen production and cellular turnover while the triple Hyaluronic Acid helps it stay gentle enough for daily use.

I am super sensitive around my eyes and I just used a very small amount each morning and night over the last two weeks and I had visible results. I can see that my fine lines and wrinkles have visibly decreased. The texture around my eyes is just more smooth.

The formula also contains finally milled minerals with light reflecting pigments so the undereye area looks brighter once applied.

Lastly, FAB has given us an oil which is very unique and I have tried it a few times, as you know my skin just loves oils.

Ultra Repair Cannabis & Oat Dry Oil was made to de-stress, relieve and nourish extremely dry, irritated and reactive skin. If you are one that has tried creams and lotions to no avail, this just might be your answer.

Ultra Repair Cannabis & Oat Dry Oil is a skin-soothing blend of Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil which is super emollient. It is derived from hemp which is rich in omegas that help to calm, soother and relieve stressed skin. The formula also contains Colloidal Oatmeal, Arnica Montana Flower Extract and more active botanicals.

This oil feels soothing to the skin as soon as I put it on. It sinks into the skin quickly and definitely holds up to the dry oil statement. I like to mix it into a moisturizer or use it as a serum before moisturizer.
