Why You Won't Read About the Celebrities Here.

I get that we are a celebrity obsessed nation, and while I do not mind some of it, there is a lot of it that I do mind and I have decided to draw the line.

Friday morning, I received an e-mail from a photo and news agency asking if I wanted to purchase rights to some photos of John Travolta and his family. I could not understand why I was asked of this and just let it pass. When I read the extremely sad story of his son dying that very morning, I felt sick to my stomach. This type of thing has to stop.

You know, it is one thing to take a look at a beautiful celebrity and want to copy their makeup and/or hairstyle. I get that. It is another to exploit them and trash them just for some traffic. I honestly do not see why some blogs are calling themselves beauty blogs when 80% of their posts hack up how a celebrity looks. It just irks me and I do not like it. I sometimes feel almost embarrassed to be classified in the same category as those that cut up the celebs.

I have decided that I do not want that even attatched to my blog, so I will stay out of the way of any celebrity posts here on Beautiful Makeup Search. From here on out! We are here to talk about beauty: makeup, skin care, spas... our hair, etc. Let the beauty reign!
