We can make it…spring is just a few short weeks away!

That doesn’t mean that the warmer weather is going to suddenly be here, unfortunately. The indoor heat is still on in a large part of the country and the cold temperatures are still taking a beating on our skin.

Using nourishing masks and moisturizers to get us through the next few months until the warm weather is here is exactly what is needed.

Here are a few newer products that I have been incorporating into my routine that have been helping to save my skin.

Moisturizing + Masking Musts to Make it Through the Season
  1. Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - I love an overnight mask to deeply nourish the skin, and this one really does it for me. Formulated with a new and innovative Swiss Glacier Water, Hyaluronic Acid & Avocado Butter, this mask quenches dry skin immediately and gives it non-stop hydration for up to 72-hours.

  2. pixi Collagen Plumping Mask - This is another leave-on mask that just launched with a lot of brand new pixi skintreats that I am really excited to try. This mask is Infused with botanical collagen and amino acids, to help moisturize, promote glowing, vibrant skin while plumping up fine lines. I like the sound of that!

  3. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel - The Neutrogena Hydro Boost lineup of products are infused with Hyaluronic Acid to retina skins moisture levels; this looks it in. This Water Gel formula is great for all skin types and is the perfect end of season product. I like this one for daytime as it plumps skin and gives me the extra burst of hydration I need under tinted moisturizer.

  4. bliss Mint Chip Mania Cooling & Soothing Ice Cream Texture Mask - When skin is extra dry and stressed, it needs soothing and this unique mask, which is new to CVS along with a selection of bliss products, does. It has a cool ice cream texture that is actually whipped shea butter that gets to immediately hydrating and nourishing the skin. I leave it on for about 15 minutes after rubbing in so my skin gets all the shea butter benefits.

  5. Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone Moisturizer - As the winter winds down and skin is looking dull and lackluster, this nourishing cream with a rosy tone pigment is perfect to perk up your complexion. It’s a quick-absorbing moisturizer and very revitalizing on the inside and out.

  6. pixi Vitamin-C Caviar Balm - This encapsulated vitamin balm sounds super nourishing for stressed and overly dry skin. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant so it will protect and soothe skin while helping to repair and nourish. As it’s a balm, it will nourish when left on overnight.

  7. Neutrogena Radiance Boost Brightening 100% Hydrogel Mask - I love a Hydrogel Mask opposed to a plain sheet mask this time of year as it feels more calming and soothing when skin is extra dry or stressed. It also helps to seal in the formula better, if you ask me. This mask is made with Vitamin B3 to replenish skin’s moisture to natural brighten and boost skin’s radiance. My skin is left really luminous when I use it. I leave it on for 25-30 minutes for the ultimate boost. I stock up on this one and try to incorporate it once a week into my routine.

  8. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oat & Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil - I’ve been using this oil for a month or so and I will say that my stressed out skin has been really soothed. I wrote about it here.

  9. Algenist Genius Sleeping Collagen - I haven’t tried this one, but I have been a big fan of Algenist and their innovative and nourishing products for years. All of Algenist products are made with Alguronic Acid which is great for minimizing fine lines, but it’s the other ingredients like vegan collagen and ceramides in this buttery cream that go the distance to helping dehydrated skin.

  10. Clinique Clinique iD™ Custom-Blend Hydrator Collection - This intrigues me, because anything custom when it comes to skincare is best. What you do is you custom blend your hydrator by picking a base then adding in a cartridge that will address your main skincare concern. For instance, I would choose the Moisturizing Lotion and the Irritation cartridge this time of year. I would switch out the cartridge for the lines & wrinkles cartridge when my skin isn’t so reactive.

I like to use masks two to three times a week for added hydration. Extra nourishing moisturizers are great for nighttime. Also, be sure to run a humidifier when at home, especially while sleeping.
