CHANEL Moscow Nail Colour Collection.

An homage to the beauty of Russian women, CHANEL is launching the Moscow Collection. The colors are all rich, deep, and of course - CHANEL beautiful!

First seen at the CHANEL Paris-Moscow show at the Ranelagh Theatre in Paris on December 3rd, this limited edition collection of nail lacquers was conceived of by Peter Philips, Global Creative Director for CHANEL Makeup.

“The Or de Russie nail colour we used on the models at the show comes from the new CHANEL Moscow When you apply the shades, which are rather dark, the surprising element is that they capture light so well that they create a fireworks effect – the shades dazzle with an unbelievable sparkle.” Collection, composed of three shades that I specially created for the show,” states Peter Philips. “The base of these three shades is black, to which we added a different sparkle for each of the colours: red, gold and blue. The Feu de Russie shade is intense and reflects passion. Or de Russie has a slight gold patina and evokes richness, while Nuit de Russie blue is full of mystery.

The collection will launch for a limited time in late December 2008 exclusively at CHANEL boutiques, CHANEL Makeup Studios and on CHANEL.com. $30 each.

Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen Runway Collection.

Look at just how beautiful the latest color collaboration from the shade experts at Sally Hansen and fashion trend-setter Tracy Reese is. For the fifth season in a row, Sally Hansen has partnered with Tracy Reese to create the ultimate seasonal shades for Tracy’s Fall 2008 Runway Show. 

This season is all about surprising pairings on the Tracy Reese runway: high-tech and natural, metallic and sheer, and rustic and refined are just a few of the bold juxtapositions that rule the runway this fall.  Together Tracy Reese and Sally Hansen translated these concepts into chic shades that are as wearable as they are fashionable—on and off the runway.

The 10 new shades of this limited-edition color collection are made with the best-selling Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer, a formula designed to impart salon color, salon shine and salon wear. A natural mineral complex and epoxy resin bond durable color to nails, while keratin strengthens, marine botanicals condition and nourish and silicone allows for smooth application.

Missing from the picture as those that broke in transit, so sad! They are Cruel Heart - a deep maroon with gold pearl and Quartz Chameleon - a neutral pink beige with gold pearl.

NYFW: Dashing Diva.

The dedicated Dashing Diva nail team has been out this week providing manicures and pedicures for the models at the Liz McClean, Erin Fetherston and Tony Cohen shows.

Next up, Dashing Diva will be doing the nails for the Zac Posen show, scheduled for this Friday at noon.

The Liz McClean stylist chose the popular sheer pink “Sheerly Shirely” polish for manicures.  Tony Cohen decided on a delicate light creamy brown polish “Chocolate Charlotte” for nails and the “Sheerly Shirely” for toes.  For the Erin Fetherston show, they chose “Dizzy Pinky Lizzy” a sheer pink polish for manicures and pedicures.
