Fragrance Friday - Philosophy's Grace Scents.

One if the most fantabulous things about the Philosophy fragrances are that you can layer them. Fragrance over fragrance, over shampoo, shower gels, or moisturizers. Anywhere you wear them, particularly any of the "grace" fragrances, will leave you smelling super sweet, and fresh. Never, ever overly done.

In case you do not know of the Philosophy Grace scents, let me introduce them to you.

Amazing Grace
The original grace fragrance is Amazing Grace. This scent is a very light and feminine blend of soft, floral blossoms. With a hint of musk, more noticeable on some people than others, this scent is an everyday fresh and airy choice.

Pure Grace
Like almost the prettiest smelling soap and water, clean and fresh, this scent is not like any other I have used in a fragrance. The fresh blossoms in this scent are lighter and the musk more clean, almost crisp.

Inner Grace
This is another very soft floral scent. Light and fresh, like sniffing blossoms through the air. This one is the lighter and almost more "girly" of the scents.

Baby Grace
If you want to conjure up thoughts of a baby or want to smell like the most pure and innocent, cleanest of bambinos, then this one is for you. I love this scent, and I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t. It almost evokes calm and memories of childhood right after spraying.

You can mix and match any of the scents to make them lighter or more floral. And as everyone is unique, every combination is as well. On the weekends, I love to use the Baby Grace perfumed body lotion, layering it with one spray of the fragrance and then dab the Pure Grace on my pulse points. Dreamy!

Fragrance Friday - Nanette Lepore.

When I wear Nanette Lepore, I sometimes think that I am a grown up Eloise.

Now living at the Plaza, wearing chic, yet fun clothes, prancing around Central Park in May. With the sun shining, I think that I have bathed in this fragrance before dancing through the flowers. Eloise would have.

Can you imagine? Then you can imagine this wonderfully romantic, yet fun and flirty fragrance, Nanette Lepore.

The fragrance opens with moonstone rose, white peach, and white cranberry juices. With middle notes of black currant, orange jasmine, and Persian lime nectar, it is warm and sensual. The black currant smells so nice on me. As the scent dries down, I am left with the sweet smell of violet.

Yes - light, springy, warm and sunny.

With Gianni Mastrocola, master perfumer, Nanette's whimsical spirit is brought to life through the fragrance.

Fragrance Friday: An Introduction.

This is such a beautiful idea, don't you think? A weekly column all about fragrance and written by me, The Fragrance Fanatic. I am so excited to be here again.

I have helped Teri out in the past, but this is special because fragrance is my thing.  I am thrilled to be here and share my love for fragrance with everyone.

Please get involved and tell me your likes and dislikes about the fragrances I post about as well. I am really looking forward to it.

To briefly introduce myself, in case you have forgotten, my name is Cindi. I am married with one beautiful little girl who is almost two years old. By day I lead up a special education technology department for a large school system. By night, well, anything goes as does life for a married mother to a busy toddler. One thing is for sure. I do it all well smelling great.

My fragrance collection is quite large. Someday I will display it all together and photograph it for you. My range is quite vast too. From my first fragrance of Love's Baby Soft (do not laugh, I love this on a cold Sunday night after a nice long warm bath) to my prized bottle of Clive Christian No. 1, I think the most expensive in my collection, and so many in between, I will have a ball talking about it every week. Hopefully I will get to try more and more fragrances and even have exclusive information on new releases, sets and more.
