When depending on mostly tinted moisturizing lotions this days, I often need a little extra help first. Like a primer, but more than a primer. A skin perfector, if you will.

I recently discovered just that in this nifty Per-fékt Skin Perfection Gel. This gel-like cream contains a tint (available in one clear and 4 shades, I use Luminous) that preps and primes the skin. It can be used alone, but for skin like mine, it the ultimate in primer + perfection.

This beauty is formulated with some pretty heavy duty anti-aging ingredients too. Alpha Lipoic Acid to fight aging and Vitamins A & E to repair and protect skin from future damage. This gel instantly evens skin tone, controls oil and reduces the appearance of redness, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

As I told you yesterday, part of the new MAC Collection Colour Ready are these three new products that are now a permanent part of their Prep + Prime Collection. Seriously, these are the star products of the line up and I cannot get enough of them.

Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone

This product is a partial primer designed for use in the T-Zone. This lightweight, oil-free, soy-based emulsion instantly helps minimize visible pores while helping to control excess surface oil and shine. M·A·C employs High Tech Optics, an advanced technology powder and light diffusers to fill in lines. The result: an invisible, natural-looking, long-lasting matte finish that also helps keep pores clean, clear and unclogged.
