CHANEL Jade Nail Collection.

How utterly beautiful are these shades? I saw a few of my friends sporting this CHANEL shades during New York Fashion Week, and now I am wanting them both.

Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, Peter Philips, created the Jade Nail Collection with two limited edition nail enamels. Check out “Jade” and “Jade Rose” for the Ready-to-Wear Autumn/Winter 2009-2010 runway show. These mineral-inspired shades transform the nails into genuine gems and recall the jade jewelry and the pink knit and pistachio tweed of the fashion collection.

The Jade Nail Collection will be sold for limited time exclusively at www.chanel.com, CHANEL Makeup Studios and CHANEL boutiques for $25.00.

Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen.

I have always been a fan of the Tracy Reese Collections for Sally Hansen. Just Tuesday when I was covering the CVS Reinventing Beauty Lounge, I was treated to a manicure, and I chose the Tracy Reese Sally Hansen HD color Opulent Cloud. It is a beautiful metallic grey/brown with a soft gun-metal finish. It really looks different in every light, and I am making it a part of this season's wardrobe.

While I was having my manicure, I learned that Sally Hansen has once again joined forces with fashion icon Tracy Reese. For the eighth year in a row, Tracy has created the ultimate accessory for the feminine, yet modern spring wardrobe, inspired by Reese’s visionary spring collection.

At Tracy's runway show, the look was created with Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Midnight In New York which provides a deep ebony base, while Hidden Treasure brushes on an unexpected finish of molten metallic, for an exclusive, never-been-seen before manicure.

The 8 new shades in the limited-edition nail color collection are made with the Sally Hansen Complete
Salon Manicure.

This season’s shades include:

  • Hidden Treasure – clear with multidimensional glitter
  • Midnight in New York – rich black
  • Sunflowers – bright yellow
  • Pomegranate – pinkish red
  • Dianthus – deep pink
  • Lagoon – sea blue
  • Silver Lining – metallic gray
  • Iced Coffee – light mocha

The entire new collection will be available in Spring at CVS.

Mouth-Watering Nail Shades for the End of Summer.

I have no plans on putting away my flip flops or sandals anytime soon. Trust me, I am going to squeeze every last day out of the summer. Keeping my toes painted in summer shades is a must, espcially when trying to extend the season I love so much.

With shades inspired by delicious summertime drinks, Nailtini is on my must-have list. For the poolside beauty in each of us, Nailtini serves up a full cocktail menu of shades, along with a yummy, pina colada inspired sugar scrub to keep those tootsies looking fabulous.

My favorites from the line:

Nailtini Nail Lacquer - $12

  • Classic Rita - Like the icy cold tequila-lime concoction that inspired it, this bright, happy citrus shade is tart, refreshing, and great with a tan.  I think I need this on my toes stat.
  • Grenadine - An eye-popping fuchsia perfect for a day at the beach, or dancing the night away at a pool party.

Foot Scrub - $16

  • Coco Loco Smoothie Mani/Pedi Sugar Scrub - Forget the tiki bar. This is treat blended up for feet and hands. Exfoliating sugar granules, sweet-smelling pineapple extract and moisturizing coconut milk combine for soft, smooth flip-flop ready feet.

For stores or to order direct, please visit the ‘Tini Bar online.
