As I am giving it a go with all things active lately, I was happy to see that COVERGIRL has created an Active Makeup collection.

COVERGIRL Active Makeup

I love my new active lifestyle and I pretty much live in activewear; it is no wonder that I am into the new Active Makeup lineup, right? I had a chance to check out a few of the products from the collection and as you would expect, if you’ve followed me for some time, I am LOVING the mascara.

Lash Blast Mascara has been one of my favorites for a long time; I always have good luck with this line of COVERGIRL mascaras. No matter what the formula or brush throws at me, my lashes seem to take to it.

I am giving my lashes a little break from eyelash extensions right now so I am really into finding a good mascara that fits within my lifestyle. The new COVERGIRL Active Mascara is a real win in my book.

With its 24-hour formula that is sweat-proof, clump proof and pretty budge proof all while not irritating to my sensitive eyes, I am super happy with Lash Blast Active Mascara all around. It is a lash separating and lengthening formula that really opens up my eyes. I like that it is easy to remove, too.

The lineup of Active Makeup is all designed to be sweat-proof and last the day. I haven’t had a chance to try the Outlast Active Foundation, but I did give the Outlast Active Get in Line Eyeliner a quick go.

I am not a huge fan of liquid liners; I rather smudge a gel liner, kohl pencil or smoky shadow on my lid and lower lash line. But for all intents and purposes, I wanted to see how Outlast Active Get in Line Eyeliner would hold up throughout a workout and it did last.

The formula is creamy and easy to apply with its superfine, flexible brush. It dried down fairly quickly and it didn’t transfer or smudge once it dried. It stayed on until I removed it with eye makeup remover.

Beside the two eye makeup products and the foundation, there is also a new Outlast Active Cooling Setting Mist - no brainer!

I find most most makeup setting sprays to be alike as long as you apply them correctly. I apply it after my makeup is applied, keeping the bottle about eight to ten inches from my face. I mist is on in an X and then T formation. This definitely helped to keep my makeup on all day and even look fresh through my workout.

Look for the new COVERGIRL Active makeup in Ulta or at you favorite drugstore like Walgreens or CVS or mass retailer like Target now.
