Today is National Lash Day. Did you even know that such a day existed? Well, of course, this beauty girl does! Every February 19th is National Lash Day. With days dedicated to celebrating such trivial things such as ice cream, socks and opposites, I'm thrilled that there are days dedicated to makeup and beauty like lipstick and lashes. In celebrations of National Lash Day, I thought it would be fun to go back and share some of my favorite posts about lashes including mascara PLUS talk about my favorite mascaras, lashes and eyelash conditioning products.
My overall favorites have been the following mascaras for years now:
COVERGIRL LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara (review)
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (review)
Lanôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara (review)
Dior Diorshow Mascara (review)
Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara
L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara (review)
Lancôme Définicils Mascara (review)
Now that I wear eyelash extensions, I only wear mascara on my lower lashes. These are the mascaras I have been using on my lower lashes. Some are better for every day and some better for length, volume and more drama — yes, on the lower lashes!
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
Pixi Beauty Lower Lash Mascara
L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara
Read all about eyelash extensions here. I highly recommend Xtreme Eyelash Extensions. I've tried a few different lengths and widths from Xtreme, and I will say that they are the best. They look and feel natural, and I get two and a half to three weeks wear out of them before I need a fill. My lashes grow really fast and I hate the way they look as they get to three weeks because they are too long, so I get fills every two and a half weeks. Most people go three weeks in between but I am just overly particular. The latest Faux Mink-X Wrap Lashes are incredible as they keep a curl and stay perfectly shaped the entire time on me.
