How extremely cool is this? COVERGIRL recently launched a fun and money saving interactive new tool on their website that matches your department store makeup with a product of theirs. It is a must-try just to see how much money you could save and find a new product to love at the same time.

You start by choosing your brand, then the type of product (eyeshadow, blush, mascara, etc.) which then narrows down to the exact product, and then shades. You select your shade and the corresponding COVERGIRL product and shade is suggested.

I've tried the index, and I'm disappointed. I found that CG bedazzled biscotti plus CG french vanilla did NOT equal Estee Lauder pink confetti.

However, I was inspired to see if I could come up with my own matches, and was satisfied with those results.
