NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder.

I really have a problem with most powders. I need them to set my makeup, sometimes deepen the color and of course, hide flaws. The problem is that many of them actually accent flaws, especially fine lines and wrinkles. Leave it to the master François Nars to create a powder to not only set makeup for flawless perfection, but make it reflecting so that it is not so flat. The creation: NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder.

NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder

This innovative mineral setting powder helps skin “shine through makeup,” enhancing the look of foundation and extending wear - all without a trace of color. That is no easy feat. The powder is made with NARS’ exclusive Light Reflecting Complex.  That means that this translucent powder optimizes light reflection on the skin, optically fading fine lines, wrinkles, and pores and makes skin appear as visibly smoothed. And it doesn't stop there. The formula includes Vitamin E and glycerin to help guard against dryness and provide a beautiful luminous soft matte finish, that is never flat.

NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder is available in two forms, Loose and Pressed. I have been using the Pressed version and it is fantastic in every way. I like to apply it with a large powder brush as the very last step in my makeup application. If I need a touch-up, which I sometimes do around my nose and under my eyes if I re-apply concealer, I press it onto my skin with a sponge.

NARS Light Reflecting Setting Pressed Powder

Each Light Reflecting Setting Powder sells for $34.00.  The Loose Powder is available only at the NARS Flagship store and online at The Pressed Powder will be available at Sephora come February 1, and then at NARS as of March 15.

Want to order! I see so many people using it and read good things.
NARS makes such great powders. I'm so happy to hear of a translucent one. Thanks!

You will love it. Last I knew, the loose powder was out of stock at, but I am sure it will be back again soon. I am using the pressed and it will be at Sephora by Friday.

You will love it. Promise. Let me know what you think once you try it.
Shiny powders are the worst and I feel like I get shiny when I use a lot of the mineral powders. Reflecting and transparent sounds nice. Do you know how it looks in photographs? You know how a lot of them give off a white hue to the skin? I wouldn't want that.
