Take out the brush from the bottom with the glittered end and your lashes will be super thick and defined. Let me get this straight, it is one mascara and you use the same brush? The only difference is in how much mascara you apply? Couldn't you just do that with mutiple coats? GIMMICKY!

Hi Lori! Yes that is the idea of this mascara. I really don't think the mascara is a gimmick, it is just versatile for maybe a day vs. night look. The wiper takes a TON of the mascara off. If you only used the side that goes through the inside wiper system, you would need probably five or six coats of mascara to equal one of what comes out of the full size.
